SUBJECT: Sanctions against Belarus and the Respect for Them
Dear Mr. David Maria Sassoli, President of the European Parliament
Dear Ms. Viola von Cramon -Taubadel, European Parliament
Dear Ms. Nicola Beer, European Parliament
Dear Ms. Anaïs Marin, UN Special Rapporteur on Human Rights in Belarus
Dear Ms. Michelle Bachelet, UN High Commissioner for Human Rights,
Dear Mr. Matteo Mecacci ODIHR/OSCE, Director of the OSCE Office for Democratic Institutions and Human Rights
Dear Members of the European Parliament,
Dear All,
I wrote to some of you earlier, more precisely 2021.02.07, regarding “Abducted EU Kids in Belarus”. The complete letter can be found on the following link:
Europe 2021-02-07 Letter to Officials of UN – EU Parliament | Subject: Abducted EU Kids in Belarus
My two daughters and many other European children are illegally retained in Belarus, mostly victims of parental kidnapping, which is a cruel offense and child abuse, except in Lukashenko’s Belarus.
It has come to my knowledge that the Ultra-Nationalist and Fascist Andrei Lemeshonok, who is managing the “St. Elisabeth Convent in Minsk”, an extreme religious organization, openly and without hesitation is supporting the “Russian World” and the dictators Lukashenko and Putin.
Andrei Lemeshonok is also openly blaming the mothers who lost their children, children who were killed by the terrorist Lukashenko, and his Mafia!

Andrei Lemeshonok & Lukashenko at St. Elisabeth Monastery
The confessor of the St. Elisabeth Monastery, Andrei Lemeshonok,
thanked Alexander Lukashenko for not closing the churches.
Furthermore, Andrei Lemeshonok does not respect any measures taken against the “Pandemic” and is preaching that “Those who believe in God have nothing to fear”. This approach and neglect from him led to several of his Nuns being infected by Covid-19! You can read about this on the following links:

Lemeshonok from St. Elizabeth’s Monastery: It is better to die but to stay with God
St. Elizabeth’s Monastery: We have two nuns with coronavirus and an archpriest in intensive care with pneumonia, but the epidemic is a fake
NN: Of the 130 nuns of St. Elizabeth, almost half of them have Corona Virus
BBC: Coronavirus in Belarus: surge in incidence, open churches, and classified information
My two daughters, who were kidnapped in 2017, were infected in Andrei Lemeshonok’s Monastery, where people and children were forced to take communion from the same spoon.
Thus, Italy, which went through an inferno at the beginning of the Covid Pandemic and is an EU member, allowed St. Elisabeth Convent to participate in the Fair of Florence (Fiera Piazza Santa Croce 20 November to 19 December) and Milan (ARTIGIANO IN FIERA 4-12 December) in Italy without any consideration of the Covid risks and the implemented sanctions to the Lukashenko regime. This reminds me of double standards and a business-as-usual approach. In St. Elizabeth Convent Minsk, they support violence and torture, and they wrongfully retain abducted children, and … now, they ask for charity and funds as Christmas is coming! Is this acceptable? You can read the complete Appeal/Complaint on the following link:
At the same time, we can read 2021.12.02 the Czech Foreign Minister Jakub Kulganek expressing that “Lukashenko’s friends and allies have nothing to do in the Czech Republic”, in connection with the situation with the expulsion of the head of the Belarusian Football Federation (BFF) Vladimir Bazanov. This should be the “Mantra” for all countries who agreed to the implementation of sanctions against the Dictator of Belarus. Any other approach or definition of the sanctions will confirm double standards, lack of credibility, and disrespect for the struggle of the Belarusian people.
Recently, 2021.11.24, Ms. Sviatlana Tsikhanouskaya, leader of the democratic opposition in Belarus, gave a speech at the European Parliament. President Sassoli, introducing her, your words were:
<<More than a year after the elections, the results of which the European Union does not recognize, Belarus continues to violate the rights of its citizens, silences civil society, and uses repression as a weapon every day (……) We reiterate today that the values of the Union are not for sale. This Parliament calls on the other institutions to stand up for the defense of fundamental rights >>
Ms. Tsikhanouskaya herself was forced to leave Belarus, her husband is in jail, and she was threatened….but her children are with her in the EU now.
Our children are still in Belarus!
Ms. Tsikhanouskaya, in her strong speech, said that there is no more time left, and for many in Belarus, time now is measured <<in lost moments of happiness – moments that are the right of every one of us to experience. Moments that Belarusians are deprived of >>.
She talked about her pain and her children’s pain, deprived of their dad and of time with him <<For me, those would be moments when my daughter Agnia might see the loving face of her father, Siarhei seeing her off on her first day of school. Moments when my son Karnei could feel the support of a father who helped him to fix his bicycle>>.
As one of many left-behind parents, who have faced and still facing Lukashenko’s cruel regime, I feel deep pain, I could not attend the first day of school of my daughters, and I won’t even see them and hug them this Christmas.
Dearest All, to know that St. Elizabeth Convent and its representatives, who support the one who <<continues to violate the rights of its citizens, silences civil society, and uses repression as a weapon every day>> are now in Italy, raising money, pretending to preach the word of God, is an unbearable injustice and just adds even more pain.
Please feel free to reach out to me with any further questions or comments.
