Dear parishioners and friends of the monastery! Christ is Risen!

In this regard, we decided to tell you about what is really happening.

As of April 22, 2020, the clergy of the monastery have no confirmed diagnoses of COVID-19.

Priest Artemy Tonoyan is on sick leave because he has flu and sinusitis.

Priest Alexander Pashkovsky has pneumonia, but the disease proceeds without complications, in connection with which, according to the results of a medical examination, he does not need hospitalization and is being treated while in his country house.

The fathers of Sergius Nezhbort and Sergius Faley have the initial stage of the disease (symptoms of ARVI), so its etiology has not yet been determined.

A friend of our monastery, Fr. Vasily Lesko, 92, is indeed in intensive care with a diagnosis of pneumonia, but he is not a clergyman of our monastery and did not participate in Lent and Easter services in our monastery.

Two sisters of the convent (out of 130) have a confirmed diagnosis of COVID-19. These are nun Alexia (Yudina Elena Vladimirovna) and nun Paraskeva (Gornostaeva Svetlana Vasilievna). Both of them are in the hospital.

Nun Maria (Lidiya Ivanovna Litvinova), who lived with the ill nun Paraskeva, was hospitalized on April 22, 2020, and is awaiting test results.

Nun Anfisa (Adamovich Natalya Evgenievna) was ill with a high temperature, underwent an examination, and is currently in her cell, her condition is stable, and the test results are expected.

The novice Zinaida (Zinaida Iosifovna Dubanevich) was ill with a high temperature; she was examined but was not hospitalized.

We also have sisters with seasonal SARS, so the recommended precautions are taken in the monastery, the temperature is measured daily, sick sisters live separately, and they are provided with medical assistance.

Andrei Lemeshonok repents

With love in the Lord, sisters of St. Elisabeth Convent.
